Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Must have been in business for more than 5 years or with an operating budget of $500k or more. (Is your organization less than five years old or with an operating budget less than $500k? Visit our Nonprofit Navigator page)

Must have an active and engaged board. The organization must have a functioning board of directors that meets regularly and actively participates in governance and strategic planning.

Must have at least two established programs or services that have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years.

Must have a commitment to staff and leadership development.

Must have a strategic plan in place, even if it’s outdated.

The Executive Director should have been in their position for at least one year to ensure continuity and the ability to effectively lead the organization through the coaching and development processes.

Comprehensive board training sessions tailored to experienced boards focusing on governance, strategic oversight, and effective decision-making. Three 1/2 day training sessions for Board of Directors:

Leadership Coaching for Executive Teams

5 hours of group coaching for the Executive Director and key leadership team members, focusing on advanced leadership skills, team dynamics, and strategic planning. Maximum of three (3) leaders for group coaching sessions.

15 hours of one-on-one leadership coaching for the Executive Director.

A full day facilitated strategic planning session to align your organization’s goals with its mission, set long-term objectives, and identify growth opportunities.

In-depth review and update of bylaws, board policies, procedures, and onboarding processes to ensure alignment with current best practices and regulatory requirements.

Two half-day staff training sessions on topics of your choice, tailored to your organization's needs, such as team building, DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility), change management, or leadership development.
